Gentrification Oakland Report

In my 10 years living in North Oakland, I notice a lot more white people moving into the neighborhood and a lot more black people moving out of the neighborhood. More blacks are moving out because of the houses in the neighborhood rising sky-high in prices where the blacks can’t afford to live there anymore. They’re forced to move to East Oakland aka Eastmont or West Oakland. My neighborhood before gentrification was a very enjoyable experience.
